Domain Names
The first step to getting your own website is to buy one or more Domain Names. We rent Domain Names for 2 years and cannot buy them once. Shortly before the end, the tenant is entitled to renew the rental of a Domain Name from the state for the next 2 years.

In case the tenant does not renew the rental, the Domain Name is deactivated but remains reserved for 15 days. In these 15 days the original tenant can submit a new rental application but with a more expensive bill. After 15 days and if the original renter does not renew, the Domain Name is free for rent by any natural or legal person.

Is the Domain Name I need available?
To check which names are free to register (rent) you should visit the official website of the name registry (Hostmaster) at htt://www.gr and not some other website or search engine (Google, etc.).

Website construction
The second step is building your website. You will absolutely need your company's logo, to know the main body of your website (Menu) and it would be good to have ready the texts and photos you want to display (products, services, etc.). The rest of the materials are related to the content of the website you want to create and you will be informed about them by the website building company you choose.

Website Hosting
After purchasing the name and creating your website, you need a web hosting package. The size and cost of the hosting package is related to the content of the website and the goals you have for your website. E.g. as an example, we mention that if you are interested in SEO, search engines (e.g. Google) rate websites hosted on Greek Web Servers differently than those hosted on foreign Web Servers. Also, a small website needs a simple and economical web hosting package, while a web portal (Portal) with high video requirements needs integrated Web Servers.
